About the Artist

IMG_3747.JPG

Kaitlyn Wilson is a multidisciplinary fiber artist and surface designer. Her work delves into themes of love, memory, and intimacy. Exploring how these forces shape our sense of being known. Born and raised in Texas, she often encounters inspiration in nature, personal relationships, and the tenderness within everyday life. She uses various textile techniques to emphasize care and emotional connection, creating tactile, story driven work through screen-printing, sublimation, tufting, digital print and pattern design, sewing, and painting. She is currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Fibers at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a minor in business. Focusing on personal memories and moments, she forms tactile libraries to reflect the gentle labor of devotion, exploring how we hold, revisit, and honor emotional connection through material.
